Back From Bangkok
finally, im backed!reached s'pore last night at 8:30pm. the flight was delayed. omg, i can really say that i miss home! i miss papa, mama, lil sis.. everyone in s'pore!
the night before we flew off with freddy sending us off...
reached bangkok's hotel at 2am. was so freaking tired that we fell asleep after the shower.
the air was bad in bangkok. belle thought so too. we were there for 4 days but no rain although its winter over there. the excessive carbon monoxide. terrible. the scorching sun. dying.
however, the shopping spree was extremely GOOD. i almost dropped dead from buying. bought 5 pairs of shoes, 2 skirts, 1 shorts, 2 tops, 1 shawl, 5 bras, 8 undies, one bag of Hello Kitty stuffs for lil sis, many many t-shirts...
my lagguage weighed 12.6kg before the trip. it increased to 19.8kg after the trip.
Day ONE:
woke up very early for the hotel's breakfast even though we reached late night.
the money we brought there. total assets was 20k over thai baht.
the breakfast was so-so. cant expect much. the hotel itself is small.
walked around the Pratunam Wholesale market after the breakfast. the market was big. loads of garments and shoes. then with a help of a sales girl, we managed to get a tuk-tuk to Siam Paragon.

now, the decent one... taken by the tuk-tuk driver.
but.. unexpectedly.. he took us the Century Movie Mall instead! no choice. walked around and got my first 2 pairs of shoes at 15SGD each.
then, took a cab to Siam Paragon instead cuz the weather is simply too hot for us.
Siam Paragon was grand. even better then our own Paragon. but all the shops are branded stuffs. it made us feel like we are back in S'pore. haha. so we went to Siam Centre. indeed, things are cheaper there. but still on a SGD rate. not much of a difference.

the feets were getting tired. Belle suggested we go for a foot massage. so we walked out of the centre andd tried finding for massage centres along the roadside. managed to find one with a not-bad price. 200baht for 1 hr. but also had Thai massage. total cost us 450baht for 2 hrs. worth it.

then, went for one of the steamboat restaurant for dinner. was eating halfway and the staffs started dancing infront of us. haha~ damn funny. but one thing i could say, there service is way better den what we have in s'pore. no attitude problems.
went back to the hotel after the dinner to put our things and went to PaPong (red light district) for more good deals! hehe~

Day TWO:
dint go for the breakfast. slept till noon time. still, shopping. went to MBK.
had tom yum gong, pineapple rice and fried chilli fish for lunch. in additional, we ordered bird nest for dessert. it was cheap. total bill was only 840baht. less den 50SGD. after lunch, shop shop and shopped non stop. had a second bowl of bird nest 3 hrs later. this time round was better then the previous one. superb!
went back to the hotel in the late afternoon to rest. too many bags on hands. after some washup, went out to look for a decent restaurant for a decent dinner. to our great suprise, after walking for few lorongs, we couldnt find any! all were roadside stalls. dint dare to eat cuz the stalls were stationed along the road. car dashed thru givin out lots of carbon monoxide. goodness.. how to eat!?!
we almost died of hunger when we saw MacDonalds. wad a "decent" dinner afterall. duhzzz...
went for a second foot massage after the dinner. it was cheaper and better this time round! they were skilled. i like it. esp after one whole day of shopping.
quickly rushed back to the hotel for another washup. cuz we planned for a clubbing session. went to a club at the Novotel Hotel near Siam Centre. the drinks were cheap. good music and good crowd. met two Thai girls there. the live band was happening. they sang different genre of songs the whole night. i kinda like it!
back to the hotel...
partied till 2am in the morning before we head back to the hotel...
Day THREE:
slept till 1pm in the afternoon the next day. intended to go Chaktukchuk(weekend market). but when we reached there... we couldnt stand the hot weather and we went off. the taxi driver took us to one of the very old shopping mall nearby for lunch. we were too hungry then. finally, yet another decent lunch! hehe!
so many photos taken.. Belle still said it wasnt enough!
bought 1 full big bag of Hello Kitty stuffs for lil sis for a total of 700baht. that was very cheap.
Belle spent 1000baht over for the Kitty for Alvin and Olga. Alvin gave her 50SGD expecting her to buy loads.
went back to Pratunam for foot and aroma massage again!! whaha~ what a relaxed life. if we were to have such cheap services in S'pore... but FAT HOPE!
again, went back to wash up as we were having oils all over us after the massage. relax for awhile before we went back to PaPong for a last night shopping... on the way to PaPong, we found a seafood restaurant for dinner... pls see below pictures for what we ordered...
Yes. shark's fin at 500baht. which is around 20SGD over. a steam fish and kailan. total bill cost us 1200baht. wonderful dinner.
we managed to spent all the money the last night and was freaking tired.
i must say, this uncle is basically very unlucky. Belle saw a dress which she liked very much. the first few shops were selling at 1250baht. but this uncle was selling at 450baht. Belle bargained until he was forced to sell at 190baht.. poor thing... but he was too soft hearted la.. haha!
Day FOUR:
went for a very last minute shopping at the wholesale market at our hotel. we each changed another 25SGD for another 568baht. bought alot of things for my cousins.. all t-shirts and shirts. good deal.
was very rush as there was a airport transfer from the hotel at 12noon. went back to pack quickly and rush down to the lobby for check out.

this two guys also book thru the same tour agency with us. but was staying at a different hotel.
we re-united taking the same flight back afterall. haha~

okay, this is the logest blog ever. it took me 1hr to complete it.
