its Saturday! do not have to work today. weee~~haven been very very busy lately. due to yr end. my coy is rushing for the very last revenue.
i will be back to the office on the 1st of Jan 2007 to do billing. damn~ what a gd start for yr 2007 eh? haha
but still, will go for a new yr countdown celebration! i dont care! i want to have fun.
argh... im bored at home.. woke up at 930am this morning which is super early.

it was a great last yesterday! went to my uncle's house for a lil' celebration with food, food and food! then, HALO Bar with my girls, roy, gab and ML on the eve night. with Chivas and finger food from Prima Deli. everyone was basically knock out after that. but still, i managed to get my way home alone. strong, eh? haha!
belle called up just now. asking me to go bangkok again. haha! next coming June. according to her, the air tix is cheap now. sounds good!!! if nothing major is gonna cropped up, the plan will be carried out. weee~
frankly speaking, at points of time, will feel a sudden loneliness and empty. dont know why. i sound sad, eh? okay, will try to buck up and live the way I want to! =)

this christmas seems lonely and boring. its quite obvious, isnt it?went to watch "The Holiday" last night. Not a bad one. Quite sad, though. I like Cameron Diaz! Shes hot! yes! HOT HOT HOT! haha!
The movie somehow inspired me in some ways. made me realised that for things to take a change isnt hard. so, therefore, ive decided to let go. in that way, it will make me feel better.
here i am, on a X'mas eve eve, working at home. got a pre-alert that one of the Chartered's engineer wanting to collect some wafers. and im thinking whether shld i go back or just let him die in UTAC. haha. let him go ask around and collect himself! damn~ its SATURDAY. why must Chartered always do all these f*cking last minute arrangements?
alright, im heading back to office. damn!!

Christmas is coming~~ New yr is coming~~been rather busy these few days. busy with getting christmas presents for my dearest colleagues! i needa thank them for giving me those wonder pressies! hehe~
head down to town with belle yesterday to get her last minute festive shopping. had got loads of boxes for my presents. like... 7? legs were getting real tired before we decided to hit home. one day just passed like dat...aww..
went Christmas lunch with my whole team. 7 of us. had the international buffet at Marriot Hotel. superb! and had to really thanks my manager for giving us the treat! you are sooo great!
as for work, its rather smooth these few days. or rather this week. maybe becuz festive seasons is around the corner. went down to CWP alone to get more presents. omg, im spending too much!
there will be a Sales&Marketing buffet at "Top Of The U" tmr afternoon. Yes, its my coy's canteen. am going for it not becuz of the food. but the lucky draw. haha! received emails to submit our namecards as lucky draw coupons and i immediately collected ALL the namecards in my team and submitted. lol. pls.. let me get the first prize! hehe.
lil sis and friends having steamboat at our house now. and here i am, hiding in my room, blogging. okie, shall end here and watch my show now.

feeling very tired these few days. ever since i came back from bangkok, tonnes of work piled up waiting for me.was freakin unlucky that i went back to the office on wednesday 8:30pm to do work. why? i just simply cant log into my coy's network. tried for 1 hr but failed. due to urgent shipment, i took a cab back. work all the way till 11:30pm before i head home for bed. damn~ unlucky day.
dint have much rest and i went out for drinking with David and Gallen on thurs! David told me was a primary sch gathering. but was conned! he told his secondary sch frens that it was a secondary sch gathering. so, we went Q-bar with his secondary frens. not a bad place. but too bored... tears almost rolled out from seating there. haha! so, i went off at 12am. head home to do some work (again) before i hit my bed.
that explains why im very tired today. almost all my energy was used up. initially thought my day at office would be an easy one. but who knows, i was basically running around being busy. collect wafers, handcarry wafers, collect datas from engineers, meeting at Chartered...
worst is, i gotta spend my day working tmr. sigh. okay, let me be opptimistic. OT, OT and still OT.
work hard.. yeah~

went back to work today. boring... hate going to work. i just wanna slack. haha!or maybe there are some ppl whom i dont wish to see.
well, alot said i put on weight and was tanned after the trip. humpf!! put on weight!?! omg.. i hafta do something about it. workout, workout, workout.
work isnt so stress today. things dint really go bad as i thought.
Jimmy, my engineer suddenly invited me to a christmas party on the coming thurs. but i turned him down as there was a pri sch gathering. but might be going to another of his party on christmas itself. well, that all depends.
arghh.. dont feel like blogging much today. thats all for today~

Back From Bangkok
finally, im backed!reached s'pore last night at 8:30pm. the flight was delayed. omg, i can really say that i miss home! i miss papa, mama, lil sis.. everyone in s'pore!
the night before we flew off with freddy sending us off...
reached bangkok's hotel at 2am. was so freaking tired that we fell asleep after the shower.
the air was bad in bangkok. belle thought so too. we were there for 4 days but no rain although its winter over there. the excessive carbon monoxide. terrible. the scorching sun. dying.
however, the shopping spree was extremely GOOD. i almost dropped dead from buying. bought 5 pairs of shoes, 2 skirts, 1 shorts, 2 tops, 1 shawl, 5 bras, 8 undies, one bag of Hello Kitty stuffs for lil sis, many many t-shirts...
my lagguage weighed 12.6kg before the trip. it increased to 19.8kg after the trip.
Day ONE:
woke up very early for the hotel's breakfast even though we reached late night.
the money we brought there. total assets was 20k over thai baht.
the breakfast was so-so. cant expect much. the hotel itself is small.
walked around the Pratunam Wholesale market after the breakfast. the market was big. loads of garments and shoes. then with a help of a sales girl, we managed to get a tuk-tuk to Siam Paragon.

now, the decent one... taken by the tuk-tuk driver.
but.. unexpectedly.. he took us the Century Movie Mall instead! no choice. walked around and got my first 2 pairs of shoes at 15SGD each.
then, took a cab to Siam Paragon instead cuz the weather is simply too hot for us.
Siam Paragon was grand. even better then our own Paragon. but all the shops are branded stuffs. it made us feel like we are back in S'pore. haha. so we went to Siam Centre. indeed, things are cheaper there. but still on a SGD rate. not much of a difference.

the feets were getting tired. Belle suggested we go for a foot massage. so we walked out of the centre andd tried finding for massage centres along the roadside. managed to find one with a not-bad price. 200baht for 1 hr. but also had Thai massage. total cost us 450baht for 2 hrs. worth it.

then, went for one of the steamboat restaurant for dinner. was eating halfway and the staffs started dancing infront of us. haha~ damn funny. but one thing i could say, there service is way better den what we have in s'pore. no attitude problems.
went back to the hotel after the dinner to put our things and went to PaPong (red light district) for more good deals! hehe~

Day TWO:
dint go for the breakfast. slept till noon time. still, shopping. went to MBK.
had tom yum gong, pineapple rice and fried chilli fish for lunch. in additional, we ordered bird nest for dessert. it was cheap. total bill was only 840baht. less den 50SGD. after lunch, shop shop and shopped non stop. had a second bowl of bird nest 3 hrs later. this time round was better then the previous one. superb!
went back to the hotel in the late afternoon to rest. too many bags on hands. after some washup, went out to look for a decent restaurant for a decent dinner. to our great suprise, after walking for few lorongs, we couldnt find any! all were roadside stalls. dint dare to eat cuz the stalls were stationed along the road. car dashed thru givin out lots of carbon monoxide. goodness.. how to eat!?!
we almost died of hunger when we saw MacDonalds. wad a "decent" dinner afterall. duhzzz...
went for a second foot massage after the dinner. it was cheaper and better this time round! they were skilled. i like it. esp after one whole day of shopping.
quickly rushed back to the hotel for another washup. cuz we planned for a clubbing session. went to a club at the Novotel Hotel near Siam Centre. the drinks were cheap. good music and good crowd. met two Thai girls there. the live band was happening. they sang different genre of songs the whole night. i kinda like it!
back to the hotel...
partied till 2am in the morning before we head back to the hotel...
Day THREE:
slept till 1pm in the afternoon the next day. intended to go Chaktukchuk(weekend market). but when we reached there... we couldnt stand the hot weather and we went off. the taxi driver took us to one of the very old shopping mall nearby for lunch. we were too hungry then. finally, yet another decent lunch! hehe!
so many photos taken.. Belle still said it wasnt enough!
bought 1 full big bag of Hello Kitty stuffs for lil sis for a total of 700baht. that was very cheap.
Belle spent 1000baht over for the Kitty for Alvin and Olga. Alvin gave her 50SGD expecting her to buy loads.
went back to Pratunam for foot and aroma massage again!! whaha~ what a relaxed life. if we were to have such cheap services in S'pore... but FAT HOPE!
again, went back to wash up as we were having oils all over us after the massage. relax for awhile before we went back to PaPong for a last night shopping... on the way to PaPong, we found a seafood restaurant for dinner... pls see below pictures for what we ordered...
Yes. shark's fin at 500baht. which is around 20SGD over. a steam fish and kailan. total bill cost us 1200baht. wonderful dinner.
we managed to spent all the money the last night and was freaking tired.
i must say, this uncle is basically very unlucky. Belle saw a dress which she liked very much. the first few shops were selling at 1250baht. but this uncle was selling at 450baht. Belle bargained until he was forced to sell at 190baht.. poor thing... but he was too soft hearted la.. haha!
Day FOUR:
went for a very last minute shopping at the wholesale market at our hotel. we each changed another 25SGD for another 568baht. bought alot of things for my cousins.. all t-shirts and shirts. good deal.
was very rush as there was a airport transfer from the hotel at 12noon. went back to pack quickly and rush down to the lobby for check out.
